To do this tutorial, start by gathering these tools :
- crab jaws or slanting jaws tweezers, depending on your preference
- a cotton disc
- a disinfectant
- an eyebrow pencil close to the tint of your eyebrows
- a pencil sharpener
- small scissors (for nails for example)
Wash your hands and disinfect your skin and the tweezers. The ideal is to depilate your eyebrows after shower, the epilation will be less painful because the skin will be more tender!
If you have never plucked your eyebrows, the first thing to define is the general shape of eyebrows line. Even if they are sparse, don’t try to modify the line: the result would not be natural.
To know where you need to depilate, put your pencil in front of your face vertically against the wing of your nose:
The eyebrow begins there. Remove the hair in front of the pencil.
Now position your pencil by lining up the wing of the nose and the outer corner of the eye :
The tail of the eyebrow finish on the right of the pencil.
Finally, pass the pencil through the outer corner of your iris:
This line indicates where you should begin to refine the line.
Start with the hairs furthest from the line of eyebrows and then go on slowly to be able to rectify if necessary. On the thick part, the depilation consists in removing the hairs that come out of the line of eyebrows. On the second part, do the same work by slightly refining the line.
Warning: it’s better to do the 2 eyebrows at the same time, little by little to rectify the line if necessary.
Always remove the hair in its direction of growth to prevent it from regrowing in an anarchic way.
Finally, be careful not to refine too much the eyebrow tail!
With a small brush, brush your eyebrows regularly during the session to see the result.
Last tip: never depilate over the line of eyebrows, this would "crush" your look.
Choose an eyebrow pencil of the tint of your eyebrows and cut the mine.
Draw some little lines without insisting. Brush with a small brush to blur the strokes.
Small tip for thicker eyebrows: apply certified organic castor oil on your eyebrows (and your eyelashes!). Your hair will grow thicker and more resistant!
Yes but before doing this, brush your eyebrows up. Then cut the hair too long. Repeat the operation by brushing down. Do not touch the hairs of the eyebrow tail that must remain long!
Warning: hairs do not grow indefinitely and they tend to be thiner over the years ... Including that thick eyebrows are fashionable. So a word to the wise!
