At Avril, we offer certified organic cotton sponges, as well as soft natural baby sponges for sensitive face and body skin. Ultra-soft and fluffy, they surround baby with softness for that special moment of grooming.
What is a natural sponge? A natural sponge is none other than a sea sponge, fished from the Mediterranean Sea (or the oceans, depending on the product), with respect for the seabed and responsible fishing (non-vegan product). The sponge has been carefully cleaned to remove all marine residues... As a natural product, each one is unique.
At Avril you'll also find soft sponges in certified organic cotton. Soft for both baby's face and body. These are vegan, and can be used by the whole family.
How do I care for my Avril natural and cotton sponges? While our certified organic cotton sponge can be machine-washed (maximum 60°C), the natural baby sponge needs to be delicately cared for. First, before using for the first time, you'll need to wash this fine, natural sponge with a mild soap, rinse with clear water and let it dry naturally. Next, avoid boiling it or twisting it in any direction, to preserve it longer.
