This has always been our mantra.

Our aim is to offer certified organic, quality cosmetics at affordable prices. And we keep it simple: a clear range with reduced packaging, a short list of ingredients, round prices. So that everyone can develop their consumption at their own pace.

But that's not enough. Commitment is at the heart of our concerns. Commitment means constantly questioning our practices and moving forward with optimism towards 2 unifying objectives:

On the strength of his experience in the retail sector, Alexis Dhellemmes realised that many customers would like to use organic cosmetics, but that the high cost was a real barrier. So he set up Avril with the aim of making organic cosmetics accessible to everyone. By eliminating most of the marketing costs, he was able to offer a high-quality organic range at low prices.

The first sales were made online. Customers were seduced and talked about them: word-of-mouth worked! Very quickly, professional retailers wanted to stock the products in their shops: organic shops, pharmacies, beauty centres, etc. To find out more about our products near you, click on our map of Avril resellers.

Born in the North of France, it was only natural that the first Avril boutique should open in Lille, a cosmopolitan city par excellence where residents, students, tourists and business people meet. Customers were flocking in from the very first day!

In response, other boutiques opened in Paris, Rennes, Angers, Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Grenoble... Designed by a local architect, each boutique is unique and exudes a warm atmosphere, a feature much appreciated by customers. Find out more about our architectural approach here.

Ecological advances are becoming increasingly strong, supported by a committed collective. Avril launched a reforestation programme. Other commitments followed: we financed the installation of windmills and photovoltaic panels, we were supplied with green electricity, we developed zero waste products...
