What is cold-saponified soap? Cold-saponified soap is soap that has undergone a traditional manufacturing process. Cold saponification preserves all the virtues of the oils and essential oils used, unlike hot saponification, which denatures the ingredients. More than just cleansing, cold-saponified soap provides real care, allowing you to benefit from the goodness of the oils and essential oils used.
It's a traditional process! So no, your soap won't be perfect, but it will be unique... And we're proud of all their little imperfections.
Our entire range of cold-saponified soaps is certified organic. What does this mean? It means that it contains a majority of natural ingredients or ingredients of natural origin, and/or ingredients derived from organic farming. You'll find organic shea butter, coconut, rapeseed or sweet almond oil, and essential oils of sweet orange, rosemary, patchouli, sage... depending on the soap and its ingredients. However, you'll never find palm oil, parabens or phenoxyethanol. No synthetic fragrances or colorants either.
Our range includes a neutral cold-saponified soap, as well as scented soaps: cardamom and patchouli, geranium and sage, and orange and ginger. Natural scents and fragrances!
How best to store cold-saponified soap? We recommend putting it on a natural soap dish, and keeping it away from water, splashes or light. These 100-gram soaps are available in recyclable cardboard packaging. So they're plastic-free and environmentally friendly. And what's more, they're made in France!
