Finding the perfect shade is essential for a natural result. You should be able to find the right shade from our range. If you're not sure, choose the lightest shade. The more precise choice of undertone is important, but often overlooked! Here's our advice on how to make the right choice:1. Identify your undertone:
-If your veins appear green, your undertone is warm. Choose slightly yellow shades.
-If your veins appear blue, your undertone is cool. Choose pinkish or neutral shades.
2. Test the shade on your wrist or jawline if possible: the concealer should blend naturally with your skin tone, yet be half a shade lighter than your foundation to illuminate the eyes.
How do I apply Avril liquid concealer?
Step 1: Prepare the ground!Cleanse your face and apply a moisturizer suited to your skin type. This will help the concealer adhere better and prevent it from slipping into fine lines.
Step 2: Apply concealer
After applying your foundation, use the applicator tip to apply a small amount under each eye, following the shape of an inverted triangle (from the inner to the outer corner).
Step 3: Blend
Use a sponge, a brush (Avril's applicator brush, for example) or your fingers to gently tap on the concealer until it blends with your foundation. For best results, start on the outside of the eye and work inwards.
Step 4: Set!
To prolong hold, apply a thin layer of Avril certified organic compact powder to the corrected area using the Avril powder brush. Don't overload to avoid marking fine lines!
