Our Avril make-up has everything you'd expect from a classic cosmetics range... except that it's certified organic, and naturally so.
Texture, hold and color intensity are all part of our standards, and accompany all Avril make-up products. From lipstick and foundation to mascara and nail polish. Whether you prefer cream, powder, pencil or balm. The Avril organic make-up range is as gentle as it is extensive, to suit all skin types.
At Avril, organic is part of our DNA. Naturally, we're committed to offering a range of certified organic make-up, and of course, quality make-up. What does this mean?
First of all, Avril certified organic cosmetics are approved by independent bodies, Ecocert and Bureau Veritas, who thus guarantee that our formulas comply with the demanding specifications of organic cosmetics. To wit:
95% minimum of total ingredients are natural or of natural origin,
At least 95% of the formula's plant ingredients are organically grown,
at least 10% of total ingredients are organically grown.
Next, you won't find any parabens, phenoxyethanol, synthetic fragrances or colorants at Avril. We like simplicity, both in the names of our ingredients and in our products. Between you and me, these are far too complicated.
Finally, Avril has other commitments, always in line with the environment: most of this certified organic make-up range is manufactured in France, superfluous packaging is eliminated, packaging cartons reused, all with the idea of a major reduction in make-up waste. Avril also plants trees and is against the practice of animal testing outside Europe (the practice has been banned in the European Union since 2009)... Because organic is also, and above all, about respecting Mother Nature.
