At Avril, we offer two options for caring for your nails:

In either case, birchwood or stainless steel, these Avril cuticle pushers serve a dual purpose: they push back cuticles and gently clean under nails. Both products are designed to be long-lasting, allowing for a more ethical home manicure-pedicure. Because at Avril, we believe that taking care of ourselves also means taking care of our environment, Mother Nature. We try, as best we can, to reduce your cosmetic waste and favor recyclable packaging whenever possible (for shipping your parcels, for example).
How do I use a cuticle remover effectively? First, we recommend cleaning the steel cuticle pusher under hot water, or disinfecting the wooden sticks. Soak your hands in warm, soapy water to soften cuticles, if only slightly. Gently push down your softened cuticles, using the bevelled edge of the wooden sticks or the spatula side of the stainless steel cuticle pusher. The other ends of each of these tools are reserved for cleaning the underside of the nails.
