What does certified organic* mean? This certification is proof that our men's body soaps contain a majority of natural ingredients or ingredients of natural origin and/or organically grown. At Avril, you'll find no parabens, no phenoxyethanol, no synthetic colorants or fragrances... On the other hand, yes, you'll find coconut oil in some of our soaps, or argan oil, or plant extracts. Mostly plant extracts!
What's the difference between body soap and a cold-saponified soap ? At Avril, you'll find both body soaps and cold-saponified soaps. The latter have in fact been created using a traditional process in which the vegetable oils used to make the soap are not heated to high temperatures. As a result, they retain all their properties. Traditional body soap remains gentle on the skin, cleansing and just as natural.
How can I best preserve my body soap? Place it on a wall-mounted or bamboo soap dish, Avril, so it doesn't melt on the edge of the bath or at the bottom of the shower.
