Bakuchiol: the plant-based alternative to retinol
Derived from the seeds of the Psoralea corylifolia plant, bakuchiol is recognised as a natural alternative to retinol and is reputed to be better tolerated by the skin.Bakuchiol acts on certain age-related mechanisms responsible for skin ageing:
- Stimulates collagen production, which helps to firm the skin and reduce visible wrinkles.
- Improves cell renewal, which helps to even out the complexion and restore radiance.
